I thought I would share some of the gear and technology that I use personally, with clients, and in the classes that I teach. I prefer basic, efficient, and useful over flashy and “cutting edge”. I stick to the stuff that works!
Gear that I use daily with clients and classes:
- Casio Ladies Solar Powered Digital Sports Watch
- FitBit Surge
- Polar Heart Rate Monitor – no chest straps required – which makes this much more user-friendly than past models used with large groups.
- Garmin Forerunner 110

This is an application that I use regularly because my gym uses it for members to track performance. I believe it is only available for clubs/gyms to use but I could be wrong. There may be something available to use on your own.
